Our story
There has never been an open competition built for the explosive athlete.
Endurance has its platform. Hybrid training has its platform. But the athlete built for speed, power, explosive strength and agility — the one who dominated on the field, the track, the court — has nowhere to go after the final whistle of their last organized game. No open stage. No next level. No shot.
Unknown Athlete Games was built to change that. Founded in Scottsdale, AZ, UAG is a 7-event competition that tests every dimension of all-around athleticism in a single day. It's open to anyone — the seasoned competitor and the first-timer alike. No gatekeepers. No prerequisites. Just show up, compete across 7 events, and find out where you stand.
Starting in Scottsdale and expanding nationwide, every UAG event is a chance to compete, qualify, and ultimately chase a world championship title. One day. Every athletic dimension tested. One champion crowned.
This is the platform that should have always existed.
Where do real ATHLETES compete?
After high-school, most athletes have nowhere to go.
Most competitions reward endurance and hybrid training. The events that dominate the space have their lane — but that lane isn't built for all-around athletic ability.
No college program. No pro contract. No platform built for explosive, powerful, fast athletes.
UNTIL NOW.
Meet the Founder
I built UAG because I couldn't find it.
I've competed my whole life — lacrosse & ski racing were my main sports as a kid, and rugby sevens as a young adult. When I hit my twenties and went looking for something to compete in outside of rugby, especially during the off-season, everything I found was built around endurance. Myself and many others train and compete differently than that. So I went looking for something that matched and came up empty.
The competition I wanted didn't exist. So I built it.
UAG is the platform I wished existed when I was searching. If you've ever felt like there was nowhere left to compete, this is for you.
